Busy Morning Breakfast Hack – Hello Smoothies!
Mornings can be crazy busy - I get it! If your mornings are anything like mine – kids need to get off to school, dog needs to be walked, zoom meeting is scheduled to start – forget about finding time to fit in a healthy breakfast!
Hello smoothie! The quick delicious solution for breakfast that can be enjoyed on the go.
Here are my three favourite smoothie recipes that I have on rotation. I love them because I can pack them with amazing nutrient dense ingredients, they are so tasty, satisfying and they give me the energy I need to start my day off right.
Strawberry Sunrise
1 cup of frozen strawberries
½ of a banana
½ cup of frozen spinach
1 scoop of unflavoured protein powder
1 tbsp of flaxseed
1 tbsp of mct oil
1 tsp of raw honey
1 cup of almond milk (or milk of choice)
Choco-monkey Delight
3 pitted medjool dates
½ of a banana
1 tbsp of raw cacao
1 scoop of unflavoured protein powder
1 tbsp of flaxseed
2 tbsp of nut butter
¼ tsp of cinnamon
1 cup of almond milk (or milk of choice)
Green Goddess
½ of a green apple, sliced
½ cup of frozen pineapple
1 cup of frozen spinach
¼ of an avocado
1 scoop of unflavoured protein powder
1 tbsp of flaxseed
1 cups of almond milk (or milk of choice)
